Will End Era of BIOS, UEFI successor

BIOS era will soon end and be replaced with the latest technology that is UEFI. This technology can reduce start-up time, so the computer can bark in seconds.
UEFI is a continuation of the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, technology replacement technology will be able to turn on the computer system in seconds. Well, what the hell it actually UEFI and BIOS?

Why is replaced with the UEFI BIOS?

What isIs the BIOS? What did It do?

BIOS (basic input / output system) is a program originally created to revive the PC after power-on button is pressed. The BIOS also manages data flow pre-boot data between computer operating systems and devices installed such as hard disk, video card, keyboard, and mouse. When the BIOS started to turn on the computer, first he will determine whether all the devices installed are in place and operating properly and then it will load the operating system (or part of it) into the computer memory from local storage (diskette, hard disk, CD-ROM, USB) or network.

What's UEFI?

UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) specification detailing an interface that will help the control system for pre-boot environment (after the system starts, but before the operating system starts) to an operating system like Windows or Linux. UEFI will provide a clean interface between operating system and platform firmware at boot time, and will support the architecture-independent mechanism for initializing add-in cards.

UEFI specification defines a new model for the interface between the personal computer operating system and platform firmware. the view interface consists of data tables that contain platform-related information, plus boot and runtime service calls that are available for the operating system and its loader. Taken together, these provide a standard environment for booting the operating system and running pre-boot applications.

How different from the BIOS UEFI?
•Serves as the interface OS BIOS firmware for-PC-XT and PC-AT computer. BIOS that has expanded over the years following the growth of the market, but never fully modernized according to market growth.

•UEFI defines the OS-firmware interface is the same, known as "boot service" and "runtime service", but not specific to any processor architecture. While the BIOS is devoted to the Intel x86 architecture, therefore it relies on the interface "real mode" 16-bit is powered by x86 processors.
